TicketSoft fee: €0.99 per paid ticket below €20.00, 5% from €20.00; VAT included. Stripe processing is an estimate for a standard EEA card: 1.5% of the amount charged plus €0.25, plus 23% VAT on that fee, and is not guaranteed: it varies by card type, card origin and the applicable Stripe rate. Processing is charged on the amount actually paid by card, so when you pass it to the buyer it is grossed up and the processing on the surcharge is covered too.

FAQ

Pricing questions.

Do you support reserved seating?

Reserved seating isn't live yet. Allocated ticket types and capacities cover most rooms today.

What happens with refunds and cancelled events?

Where a full customer refund is due, it includes the ticket price and booking fees the customer paid. For a cancelled event, the organiser funds its refund obligations and TicketSoft processes refunds once cancellation is verified and the required funds are held or received. The organiser's responsibility for platform and processing costs follows its commercial terms. For help, email refunds@ticketsoft.com. Refunds and cancellations in the Help Centre

What happens below €20?

Every paid ticket priced below €20.00 carries a flat TicketSoft fee of €0.99, VAT included, whatever the price. A €19.99 ticket carries a €0.99 fee.

What happens at exactly €20?

From €20.00 the TicketSoft fee is 5% of the ticket's face value, VAT included. A €20.00 ticket carries a €1.00 fee; a €100.00 ticket carries a €5.00 fee.

Is VAT included?

Yes. The €0.99 and 5% TicketSoft rates are shown with VAT included. The calculator also adds 23% VAT to its Stripe processing estimate, so the figures you see are what changes hands.

Is Stripe processing included?

No. Card payments on TicketSoft are processed through Stripe, and Stripe's processing fee is separate from the TicketSoft platform fee. The calculator shows an estimate for a standard EEA card so you can see the complete picture.

Can I absorb either fee?

Yes. You choose, independently, whether the TicketSoft fee is passed to your buyer or absorbed by you, and whether Stripe processing is passed to your buyer or absorbed by you. Pass both on and you receive the full face value.

Why is Stripe shown as an estimate?

Stripe's processing depends on the card type, where the card was issued and the applicable Stripe rate. The calculator uses 1.5% of the amount charged plus €0.25, plus 23% VAT on that fee, which is the standard EEA card estimate. Cards from outside the EEA and some card types can be processed at different rates.

What happens with a free ticket?

Nothing. A free ticket carries no TicketSoft fee and takes no card payment, so there is no Stripe processing either.

We sell at high volume or have a specialised setup. Can we discuss a tailored arrangement?

Yes. The rates above are our standard published rates. If you're selling at major volume, migrating a large programme, have unusual operational requirements or need additional support, tell us in the application or book a demo and we'll talk about a tailored proposal.
