Money: fees and payouts
What it costs, who pays the booking fee, and how the money reaches you.
When do I get paid?
Money moves as each sale completes. Your share is transferred to your connected Stripe account as the payment completes, after Stripe deducts its processing fee. Verified organisers can withdraw to their bank the same day.
Available to approved organisers. Same-day withdrawal depends on Stripe verification, and Stripe applies daily payout limits that rise with account history. Bank timing also depends on account eligibility, payout settings and your bank.
Why does TicketSoft pay out as you sell instead of after the event?
Because holding an organiser's money until after their event is a cashflow problem the organiser did not ask for. Your share sits in your own Stripe account from the moment each sale completes, not in ours.
What are your fees?
See the pricing page, which has a calculator you can put your own numbers into. The launch offer covers your first 1,000 paid tickets with no TicketSoft platform fee.
Who pays the booking fee, me or the buyer?
You choose. Fees can be passed on to the buyer at checkout or absorbed into your ticket price.
Do I need a Stripe account?
Yes. Your share of each sale is transferred to your own connected Stripe account, so the money is yours from the moment the sale completes rather than sitting with us until you ask for it.
We'll guide you through the connection step. Stripe may ask you for identity, business and bank details before it enables payouts.
What happens to the fees if I refund a ticket?
Where a full customer refund is due under the applicable policy, it includes the amount the customer paid for the ticket and its booking fees. The organiser's responsibility for platform fees, payment-processing costs and other refund costs is separate and follows the agreed commercial terms.
